The complete Mercedes-AMG line-up
With the promotion of Vincent Abril, now official pilot, Mercedes-AMG has completed its line-up for the 2021 campaign of DTM.
In addition to Vincent Abril at Team HRT, Arjun Maini (Team GetSpeed), Maximilian Götz (Team HRT), Daniel Juncadella (Team GruppeM Racing), Gary Paffett (Team Mücke Motorsport), Lucas Auer and Philip Ellis at Team WINWARD will represent Mercedes-AMG at the within the DTM which enters the GT3 era this year.
« It is a big challenge for Mercedes-AMG to race in DTM with the Mercedes-AMG GT3, recognized the boss of the German structure Christoph Sagemüller. By engaging in this competition we are adding a new pillar to our customer program ».
The DTM starts its pre-season this week with testing at Hockenheim (April 7/8). The start of the campaign is scheduled for June (18/20) on the Monza route.
