BMW drivers confirmed in DTM

BMW has confirmed most of its drivers for the 2019 DTM season. The competitors will remain the same with the exception of Augusto Farfus whose replacement will be chosen during the rookie test.

BMW Motorsport will continue next year by DTM by retaining 5 of the 6 drivers present on the grids this year. Thus, Marco Wittmann (best representative of the Bavarian manufacturer with a 4th place in the Championship) will team up with Timo Glock, Philipp Eng, Bruno Spengler and Joel Eriksson.

The squad will be completed by a 6th pilot who will be selected at the end of the rookie tests organized in mid-December in Jerez (Spain). The lucky one will replace Augustus Farfus qui rejoindra le WTCR chez Hyundai.
