He was the driver still in contention for the title with the least chance of being crowned this Sunday. To do this, he had to take 23 points from Liam Lawson in this last race. Kelvin van der Linde came out in front of him after his stop and his 5 second penalty (contact with Liam Lawson. Editor's note), the Team HRT driver took advantage of the misfortune of the South African who saw one of his tires give out at 10 minutes of the term. A godsend for him who now found himself behind a train of Mercedes-AMG.

Regardless of the way for him, Maximilian Götz sings this Sunday while Liam Lawson, sparkling throughout the season, becomes disillusioned after losing the title against his will.
