Robert Kubica testing with BMW at Jerez

The links between Robert Kubica and the DTM marked this 2019 campaign, the Pole, holder at Williams this year, being regularly placed to combine the German series and a yet to be defined role in F1 in 2020.

The ex-pilot Renault, who had already tested a Mercedes in 2013, will be next week (December 10-13) at the wheel of a BMW M4 DTM on the Andalusian track of Jerez, during the Young Driver Tests organized by the championship in the South of Spain.

“I am already very much looking forward to this test and getting to know the DTM racing car with its turbo engine,” explains Kubica. I can well imagine a future in DTM.

I'm looking for a new challenge, and DTM is definitely that. The series has a top-notch grid and the level of driving is extremely high. However, we first have to wait and see how the trial goes. »

The Pole will be joined at BMW by Nick Yelloly, already an official Munich driver since 2019, and mainly engaged in China GT.
