The Drivers' crown could fall into René Rast's hands even before the final meeting at Hockenheim. The German, already titled in 2017, will start from second place on the starting grid, alongside his colleague Jamie Green.

His rival Nico Müller, sanctioned with an early start in Race 1 Saturday, will have a lot to do starting from 14th place. French Loïc duval (Audi) can aim for a finish in the top 5 with the sixth fastest time in qualifying.
