Timo Glock joins ROWE Racing

The ex-pilot F1 Timo Glock will always be engaged in DTM in 2021. The resident of the BMW fold will line up at the start of the new formula of the German series, highlighting cars meeting GT3 regulations, at the wheel of a M6 GT3 operated by ROWE Racing.

Glock will thus be Sheldon van der Linde's teammate within the structure led by Hans-Peter Naundorf.

“They have gained everything in endurance, recalls the person concerned, ROWE having notably won at the 24 Hours of Spa and the Nürburgring. I'm really looking forward to working with the team and with Sheldon van der Linde, who is a very fast kid.

Even though I'm the older of the two of us, I can probably learn more from him as he has a lot more experience with the BMW M6 GT3. Let's see what we can do this season. It will undoubtedly be an exciting year. »

Glock thus completes a starting grid where several GT3 big names (Juncadella, Götz) will be tough opponents against DTM regulars and rookies like Alex Albon.
