Can you become champion from the paddock? You would obviously answer in the negative, because everything must be played out on the track. Maximilian Götz will perhaps not recognize it, but he would have every interest in saying so. The party that this final was supposed to be on the Norisring turned into a little merry-go-round between teams which was delightful.

I have just revealed Gonzalo Foges' article. I'm a little scandalized. Journalists, you are the first to condemn offensive comments towards people on social networks. So don't do the same thing! First, your summary of this final is far from reflecting the reality of the race. You talk about a "clashes" between the two leaders.... it's a nice vision. Then, and to make a long story short, the end of the race is surely not the result of a decision by Mr. Götz or HRT, but by Mercedes AMG. And it’s certainly not Götz’s place to talk about the racing instructions. Do your job as a journalist and go interview Mercedes executives. Now what would Audi, Ferrari, or others have done in the same situation? Not a word when Rockenfeller blocked the competitors to allow Van Der Linde to take off in the previous races. So you too be more moderate in your comments towards men, and above all closer to the reality of events. Pierre Dufour
