For the big debut of its M4 GT3 in DTM, BMW sees quadruple in 2022! If Walkenhorst Motorsport has decided to continue the adventure with the propeller manufacturer, it is ROWE Racing which is missing.

The Sankt Ingbert structure (Germany) has in fact decided to concentrate fully on the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring and the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps where she will enter a BMW M4 GT3. It thus left a vacant place which was taken by Schubert Motorsport. Like Walkenhorst Motorsport, the team led by Torsten Schubert will compete in the German championship campaign with two M4 GT3s, bringing the total number to 4.

« Last year we saw some top-level GT3 racing in the DTM, and now we are excited to see four new BMW M4 GT3s in action in this series in the hands of two highly experienced teams from the BMW M Motorsport circle, » confides Andreas Roos, boss of BMW M Motorsport.

To take care of these M4 GT3s, Walkenhorst Motorsport and Schubert Motorsport will field 4 official drivers, namely Esteban Muth and Marco Wittman for the first team, and Sheldon van der Linde and Philipp Eng for the second.
