FIA GT World Cup – A gala field in Macau!

In a very short time, the FIA GT World Cup has become an essential event of the GT3 season. Unfortunately, once again, it takes place on November 19, the same weekend as the final of the WEC in Bahrain, preventing pilots like Earl Bamber from attending.

Audi will trust Robin Frijns, Nico Müller and Lucas di Grassi, when Porsche has decided to requisition Romain Dumas, Laurens Vanthoor and Darryl O'Young, for whom the event no longer holds any secrets. Augusto Farfus, Marco Wittmann, Tom Blomqvist and Chaz Mostert will defend the interests of BMW, while Mercedes will rely on Edoardo Mortara, Daniel Juncadella, Raffaele Marciello and Maro Engel. Honda, Ferrari and Lamborghini will respectively run Ranger van der Zande, Felix Rosenqvist and Mirko Bortolotti.

Note the presence of four former winners of the Macau Grand Prix F3 – namely Edoardo Mortara, Felix Rosenqvist, Lucas di Grassi and Daniel Juncadella – and four former winners of the GT Cup (which became FIA GT World Cup in 2015), namely Darryl O'Young, Edoardo Mortara, Maro Engel and Laurens Vanthoor.
