Franz Engstler had abandoned his Audi TT, which benefited from a temporary exemption. The German will debut his new Golf at the TCR Series round at the Red Bull Ring this weekend.

Franz Engstler enters the TCR Series with a Golf

Franz Engstler changes mount. Its Audi TTs, which did not exactly meet the TCR regulations, were entered while the specific Volkswagen Golf was ready. The first copy was caught testing on Thursday July 2 on the Red Bull Ring (Austria), where the TCR Series event will be held this weekend, in support of the 4 Hours ELMS and FR 3.5.

Note that the Italian Michela Cerruti, ex-Auto GP and Formula E, who competes in GT in Germany, will be entered in Spielberg in a Seat Leon at Target Compétition to replace Michel Nykjaer.
