GT World Challenge, FFSA GT and Intercontinental GT Challenge for AKKA-ASP in 2020

In the wake of the last test ofAKKA-ASP in 2019, the 12 Hours of Abu Dhabi, Jérôme Policand's structure confirmed the main lines of its 2020 program.

Without much surprise, the GT World Challenge will be the main focus of the Rabastens team's commitment, with a Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the Pro-Am category, one in the Silver category and especially one in Pro, on which Raffaele Marciello is already confirmed.

The winner of the FIA ​​GT World Cup in Macau will once again be the main man for AKKA-ASP in Endurance Cup. In the Sprint Cup, AKKA-ASP has formalized the presence in a Silver crew of Jim Pla, who will be supported by the Chilean Benjamin Hites, vice-champion Ferrari Challenge North America 2019. Another car will target the Pro category.

In GT3, the Intercontinental GT Challenge will also be in the AKKA-ASP books with “almost certainly” in the words of Jérôme Policand, a presence at the 9 Hours of Kyalami in November 2020. Another round, excluding the 24 Hours of Spa, will be on the menu.

The French team will logically trust the new 2020 version of the Mercedes-AMG GT3, with three new Evo chassis and a kit already ordered by AKKA-ASP. Finally the FFSAGT will see the Tarn team operate four Mercedes-AMG GT4s.
