The Honda armada has made some changes to its crews for the 2020 Super GT season. The 2018 champion, Jenson Button is leaving the discipline as announced at the end of the 2019 financial year.

His team, Team Kunimitsu, cleaned house by recruiting the former hope of the car Tadasuke Makino, 12th in GT500 in 2019. He will team up with former champion Naoki Yamamoto.

The two notable arrivals are Arta and Mugen. These teams will respectively work with the winner of the GT300 and the Formula 3 Asia, Nirei Fukuzumi (also seen in Formula 2) and Ukyo Sasahara.

Among the 10 drivers under official contract, Bertrand Baguette is the only European. The 33-year-old Belgian continues with the Real Racing team and keeps the same teammate, Koudai Tsukakoshi (6th in 2019).

Finally, Hiroki Otsu enters the premier category with Nakajima Racing, after an exercise in GT300.
