Kévin Estre on pole for the 24 Hours of Nürburgring with McLaren

The Top 30 qualifying rounds for the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring only allow two practices for each crew. Kévin Estre, the official driver entered in the No. 4 Dörr Motorsport MP12-66C, only needed one lap to set the new reference time for qualifying for the German double clock with a time of 8' 10 »291. The Frenchman beat the Marc VDS Racing BMW Z4 by more than two seconds, although driven by Maxime Martin, to offer the first pole to Woking on this test.

The Belgian still had the satisfaction of beating the Phoenix Racing Audi R8 LMS ultra driven by Mamerow-Rast-Winkelhock-Haase who will start on the second row alongside the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 from the Black Falcon of Buurman-Christodoulou-Haupt-Al Faisal. A second BMW completes the top five on the grid with the #19 Team Schubert of Müller-Werner-Sims-Luhr ahead of the Audi of Vanthoor-Basseng-Stippler-Fässler.
