The Porsche Supercup renews its contract with F1

The association between Porsche and F1 for the Supercup will continue for three additional seasons starting in 2017. The German brand, which organizes the championship alongside certain Grands Prix on the calendar, has confirmed the extension of its contract with the premier discipline of motorsport.

Nine events (including one outside Europe) should again be on the program next year, for what will constitute the 25th season of the one-design series launched in 1993.

For the occasion, Porsche to launch new 911 GT3 Cup model, which will be unveiled tomorrow on the sidelines of the Paris Motor Show (October 1 – 16).
