Manufacturers selected for the FIA ​​GT World Cup

The International Automobile Federation has published the list of manufacturers admitted to the FIA ​​GT World Cup contested in Macao (China) from November 19 to 22: Aston Martin (Vantage), Audi (R8 LMS ultra), McLaren (MP4-12C), Mercedes (SLS AMG) and Porsche (911 GT3) are the 5 brands selected for this sprint race where only one driver will be entered per car. The entry list will be limited to 28 participants.

“It is the result of two successes: the GT3 concept used in most championships around the world combined with the legendary Macau Grand Prix… The race will have a global impact and the spectacle promises to be magnificent in this format”, enthused Christian Schacht, president of the GT Commission at the FIA.

Teams have until September 25 to engage with the drivers. The full list will be revealed on October 7 in Macau. The Macau GP will be contested this season without the presence of the WTCC.
