Maxi Götz remains at the forefront in Lausitzring testing

Best time of the first day of pre-season testing at the Lausitzring yesterday, Maxi Götz (Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo – HRT) did it again this Wednesday.

The German, credited with a time of 1'43"480 on Tuesday, improved his reference today to 1'43"311, ahead of both Ferrari Alex's 488 GT3 Albon (Alpha Tauri) and Liam Lawson (AF Corse), beaten by 0″157 and 0″340 overall for the day.

Philip Ellis and Lucas Auer (Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo – Team Winward) complete the top 5 of the day ahead of Frenchman Vincent Abril (Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo – HRT). The best Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo of Mike Rockenfeller (Abt) takes 9th place when you have to look towards 12th position to find trace of the first BMW M6 GT3 of Marco Wittmann (Walkenhorst Motorsport).

Two final running sessions scheduled for tomorrow will conclude this round of testing at the Lausitzring.
