The lucky ones qualified for this non-championship gala race are the drivers who won a race in 2021 or 2022, the former winners of the All-Star Race entered in the regular championship and the former champions NASCAR Cup Series engaged this season.

The NASCAR Open, a 3-segment race contested just before the main race, will award 3 additional places for the 3 segment winners.

Finally, the traditional fan vote will award the last place for the big party with a $1 million bonus to the winner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

After a classic first stage where each driver will have a single lap on the track, the eight fastest will compete in 4 ultra-spectacular duels over 3 laps. The start of each duel will be given from the stands where the driver will be able to set off without speed limit once his 4 tires have been changed by his team. The last two drivers in the running will battle it out for pole position.

ALL-STAR RACE:

The race will be divided into 4 segments of 25 laps for the first 3 and 50 laps for the final. A pit stop competition will be held at the end of the second segment.

The first three segments will determine the first three places in the final segment, subject to the winner remaining in the top 15 places in the following segments.

Fourth place at the start of the final segment will be awarded to the winner of the pit stop competition.

The driver who is first to take the checkered flag at the end of the 50 laps of the final segment will succeed Kyle Larson to win the $1 million check and will join drivers such as Jimmie Johnson, record holder with 4 wins and Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt at 3 wins.
