The Cup Series stopped this Sunday at the “Magic Mile” in Loudon, a particularly technical flat track, the polar opposite of the Atlanta banking of the previous week. If the last laps of the race were animated by Chase Elliott and Christopher Bell, Martin Truex Jr. was the big entertainer of this 20th round of the season, taking pole position before leading 172 of the 301 laps.
