We'll have to get used to no longer seeing Kyle Busch wearing the number 18 on a car in the colors of little chocolates that melt in your mouth, not in your hand. Likewise ended the collaboration with Joe Gibbs Racing and Toyota, and place at Chevrolet and Richard Childress Racing. In short, everything changes in 2023 for Kyle.

To embark on such an adventure at 37, you have to be either totally crazy or passionate about motor racing beyond any reasonable limit. In the case of Kyle Busch, one would be tempted to say, both! Double Champion NASCAR Cup Series 2015 and 2019, Kyle Busch has one of the finest records in the discipline with 60 victories. One number sums up well the competitive bulimia of the youngest of the Busch siblings: 224, the number of victories for Kyle in the three major disciplines of NASCAR, i.e. 60 in the Cup Series, 102 in Xfinity and 62 in the Truck Series. A record built over 22 seasons which today seems unbeatable by any driver other than himself. As owner of the Kyle Busch Motorsports team, 91 victories and 7 team titles enrich this incredible record.

If above all he intends to complete a twentieth consecutive season in the NASCAR Cup Series with at least one victory, on February 19, 2023 Kyle Busch will take to the track in his Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 stamped with the 8 to take up his final challenge. That of winning the 500 miles of Daytona, the most prestigious race in the discipline which has always been denied to him.

The Las Vegas driver is already hard at work this week at COTA in Austin to conduct tests for GoodYear. Who else could start the 2023 season than him?
