Kyle Busch's beatific smile says a lot about the nice trick he just played this Sunday evening in Bristol. To win a race, you have to be the first to cross the finish line and Busch applied this fact perfectly. Taking advantage of a collision between Chase Briscoe and Tyler Reddick on the last lap to take the victory without having led a single lap of the race. Tyler Reddick saves second place at the wire but will still have to wait to finally win in the Cup Series.

The rain greatly disrupted this race by causing two interruptions at the end of the second segment and 28 laps from the end of the event. Bristol's technical teams achieved the feat of restoring the dirt track after each downpour, allowing this 9th round of the season to come to an end.

Defending champion Kyle Larson takes 5th place after winning the first segment and consolidates his place in the Top 10 in the general classification. The second stretch was won by Chase Briscoe.

This victory allows Kyle Busch to sign his 60th success in the Cup Series, becoming the 9th most successful driver in the history of the Championship and the most successful active driver.

Chase Elliott retains the lead in the Championship, still followed at just 3 points by Ryan Blaney. Joey Logano is a solid third, but it should be noted that these 3 drivers still have not won a victory this season!

Change of venue and atmosphere next weekend with the formidable Talladega Super Speedway.
