Paul di Resta takes the advantage

Paul di Resta, Ford India test driver F1, was the fastest this Saturday on the EuroSpeedway in Lausitz, in order to start on pole for Sunday's race. The Briton, however, came close to being eliminated in Q3. Fourth with less than a tenth over Mike Rockenfeller (Audi), he validated at the last minute for Q4. Di Resta then dominated his last three rivals to take his first pole of the season.

« The car works really well here, it's not much different from previous years, explains Paul di Resta. We are hopeful that we will be able to repeat such a performance tomorrow. It will be very difficult because I am surrounded by a lot of fast drivers. But I really like running here. »
