Paul di Resta gets used to pole

Paul di Resta (Mercedes), regularly invited by Force India and Mercedes to drive during the first free practice session of the Grands Prix of F1, is having a prosperous season. And this one could well smile at him to the point of offering him the title of champion of DTM. But for that, he will have to seek out Bruno Spengler (Mercedes), leader of the DTM general classification and very consistent throughout the races.

The Franco-Canadian, second in qualifying this Saturday, will start alongside Paul di Resta, pole-sitter for the second consecutive time. With the Audi drivers once again in the background, the two best Mercedes drivers will be able to explain themselves during the race at the Motorsport Arena in Oschersleben.

« I hope we can score a lot of points in the title race tomorrow, confides di Resta. But getting the car to work well today proved difficult. After the first round of qualifying, we weren't really happy. Then we made a few changes and the car started to work perfectly. »

Currently second in the DTM general classification, Paul di Resta is nine points behind Bruno Spengler. The Oschersleben race could allow him to get closer to the lead in the championship.
