And 4 for Marvin Klein! The CLRT driver wins the first race of the weekend at the Barcelona circuit. He is ahead of the 2 Martinet by Alméras of Dorian Boccolacci and Alessandro Ghiretti after a C1 controlled from start to finish.

At the start, Alessandro Ghiretti jumped the 2 CLRTs and took the lead at the end of the straight. Hope Porsche France fails to brake, locks his wheels and knocks down Florian Latorre (CLRT). The two drivers cut the corner and Marvin Klein took the opportunity to take control of the race ahead of his rival Dorian Boccolacci (Martinet by Alméras). At turn 3, Victor Blugeon is propelled off the track by Christophe Stone. The ABM pilot rolled twice in the gravel trap but escaped the collision unscathed. The Safety Car is deployed after not even one sector.

At the restart, Marvin Klein (CLRT) leaves Dorian Boccolacci (Martinet by Alméras) behind him. The two men escape with Alessandro Ghiretti (Martinet by Alméras) but will not have the opportunity to attack each other. Marvin Klein (CLRT) still gains points from his rival. Behind, pole sitter Florian Latorre (CLRT) was unable to join the fight for the podium. He finished 5th after a long battle with Gianmarco Quaresmini (Ombra Racing).

In the Pro-Am, Jérôme Boullery (YDEO) consolidates his lead in the championship thanks to his victory in C1. He is ahead of Nicolas Misslin (BWT Lechner Racing), who was very pressing but who never managed to pass. Philipp Sager (Dinamic Motorsport) completes the podium.

In the Am category, Tugdual Rabreau (CLRT) won his first victory of the season ahead of his teammate Franck Leherpeur and Sébastien Poisson (ABM), who is competing in his first round in PCCF. Maxence Maurice, ultra dominant since the start of the season, had to retire after going out at the exit of turn 9. A circuit which definitely does not bring him luck, since the driver IMSA Performance lost the title in the final in Barcelona last year.

As a rookie, Dorian Boccolacci is getting closer to the title after winning the category ahead of his teammate Alessandro Ghiretti. Ugo Gazil (Pierre Martinet by Alméras) is 3rd.

Next meeting for the PCCF drivers, race 2 this Sunday, to follow from 10:30 a.m.
