PCCF – Jaxon Evans fondly remembered by all at Paul-Ricard

The New Zealand driver however started from 2nd place on the grid, the fault of a pole-sitter Dorian Boccolacci and galvanized by his victorious weekend in the Nièvre a few days ago. However, when it was time to launch hostilities, it was Evans who made the best start and was in the lead from the S de la Verrerie. Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer was also able to get the better of Boccolacci at the start, and thus slipped into second place. Behind, Marvin Klein remained glued to the grid and had to spit in his hands to return throughout the race.

5th, Alessandro Ghiretti takes second position in the Rookies ranking, while Milan Petelet takes advantage of the retirement of Ugo Gazil to take 3rd place in this ranking, crossing the finish line in 15th position.

For his return to competition after his accident at Magny-Cours, Victor Blugeon did not have an easy race. The Savoyard started from 7th position but was the victim of several touches on the track which sent him to the bottom of the ranking.

In the ProAm category, Jérôme Boullery delivered a splendid performance, notably playing elbows with Ugo Gazil and Marvin Klein. He won in the category and even took 10th place in the general classification. Behind, 3 men competed for places of honor throughout the event. In this game, it’s ultimately Christophe Stone who finished second, ahead of Nicolas Misslin and Raymond Narac. Finally, note the victory in the Am category for Maxence Maurice, who won ahead of Tugdual Rabreau and Franck Leherpeur.

The second round of the PCCF race will take place this Sunday at 11:50 a.m. It is Dorian Boccolacci who will start again from pole position, ahead of Jaxon Evans and Florian Latorre. It will be followed live right here!
