First victory for Klein in Porsche Carrera Cup France at Spa

Marvin Klein (Pierre Martinet by Alméras) apprend très vite. Le débutant a signé sa première victoire en Porsche Carrera Cup France dès son deuxième meeting dans la discipline, samedi 4 mai sur le circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (Belgique).

The 19-year-old took the lead over his former French Formula 4 rival Hugo Chevalier (Martinet by Alméras) on a drying track a few hours after the snow had passed. 2014 campaign champion Côme Ledogar (Team 85 / Bourgoin Racing) made an effective comeback from ninth to finish third.

The main fact of this second race of the weekend is theAyhancan Güven's spin (Martinet by Alméras) from the first round. The Turk, victorious on Friday, attempted an overly optimistic attack on pole sitter Florian Latorre (RMS, 6th) and lost control of his car. Left with the knife between his teeth, he moved up to the 11th row.
