Romain Grosjean does not rule out the DTM

Waiting for Lotus' decision F1 Team (see here) regarding the choice of Kimi Räikkönen's teammate in 2012, Romain Grosjean will take part in the BMW test session organized in Monteblanco next week, from December 6 to 8, to test the M3 DTM 2012. The GP2 Series champion, who had already tested in DTM with Audi last year, will compete alongside Marco Wittmann, Signature driver in F3, and three of the four drivers already established (Martin Tomczyk, the reigning champion of the discipline, Bruno Spengler and Andy Priaulx).

Jens Marquardt is eager to assess the potential of Romain Grosjean and Marco Wittmann at the wheel of the manufacturer?s future propeller weapon. “Both have proven what they are capable of on several occasions. We can't wait to see how they will drive the BMW M3 DTM. We now have a very strong team with four drivers (Augusto Farfus will be absent from the next session). This allows us to work productively on our essays. »
