Sacha Fenestraz at Tom'S in GT500?

At the end of 2018, seeing his future somewhat blocked in the Old Continent following a frustrating season in the FIA European Championship F3, Sacha fenestraz made the decision to go into exile in Japan. It is an understatement to say that today he does not regret it.

Japan F3 Champion and sixth in Super GT – GT300 in Kondo Racing's Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3, next year he should compete in Super Formula at Kondo Racing as well as in the premier category of Super GT: GT500. He would support Sho Tsuboi – to whom he succeeded on the F3 Japan prize list – on the Toyota Supra n°36 operated by Tom'S.

In fact, before the WEC n moving the date of the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps forward by a week, there were several date conflicts with the Super GT.

If it seems – before publication of the 2020-2021 WEC program – that there is only one clash between the two series (the Test Day of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Suzuka, May 31), Kazuki Nakajima should focus in 2020 on the World ChampionshipEndurance and Super Formula.

Note also that another driver is affected by this clash: Kenta Yamashita, titled in Super GT at the beginning of the month under the colors of Team LeMans.

It is rumored that the 24-year-old Japanese will not put his title on the line to honor his WEC commitments in the High Class Racing Oreca 07.

It must be said that he is in the sights of Toyota Gazoo Racing, which will also allow him to take his first laps at the wheel of the TS050 Hybrid, on December 15 in Bahrain, during the Rookie Tests of the WEC.
