Turkey are favorites for the third and final race of the FIA GT Nations Cup in Bahrain. The duo composed of Salih Yoluc and Ayhancan Güven (Mercedes) won the second round with authority Saturday afternoon and will start the event from pole position.
Well placed until a spin of Jean-Luc Beaubelique (Mercedes) in the last minutes, France will have to roll up its sleeves by only starting 13th. Jim Pla will finish the job after changing drivers mid-race. Victorious on Friday evening but victims of a puncture and a collision in Race 2, the Belgians Mike den Tandt and Charles Weerts (Audi) will start from sixth row.
