Super GT – Jenson Button confirms full program in 2018

Jenson Button will return to a full racing program in 2018, which will include the Japanese Super GT. The world champion F1 2009 will thus find the Honda brand, which motorized McLaren during his last full season in F1 in 2016. This announcement was made during the Honda Racing Thanks Day in Motegi.

No details, however, on the structure that could accommodate the Briton. The latter lined up at the start of the Suzuka 1000 km this year with Team Mugen, alongside Hideki Mutoh and Daisuke Nakajima.

The former Brawn GP driver then took 12th place at the wheel of the Honda NSX-GT. A car tested by the Briton a year ago, already at the Honda Racing Thanks Day.
