Supercup – Mathieu Jaminet “on a cloud”

What could be better than the Ardennes slide to achieve your first success in Porsche Supercup. This is the performance accomplished by Mathieu jaminet last weekend on the Spa-Francorchamps track.

Driving the Porsche 911 of Team Martinet by Alméras, the Frenchman got rid of his main rival and championship leader Sven Müller after the race was neutralized, before controlling the end of the Spa event. Enough to erase these recent disillusionments.

The fight with Sven Müller at the start of the race was very nice, but unlike the other missed opportunities since the start of the season when I was in the lead, I didn't want to let this victory slip away. I'm on cloud nine! To win, what's more, on one of the most famous and difficult circuits in the world, it's simply fantastic! » comments the leader of the Rookies ranking.

A result which also delighted his boss Philippe Alméras, who could count on the support of a distinguished guest. “The location could not have been better chosen, because it is the only race that our partner Pierre Martinet was able to attend during this extremely busy summer.

I am also very happy for Mathieu because he deserves it. He never stops working and has built his success over several races by relying on the team. He is a hard worker, with a team spirit which will allow him to make better use of his technical package in the future. He knows the recipe now! »
