The German Touring Championship (DTM) sets up in Belgium, unless it is the other way around! Just a few hours later the officialization of the Zolder meeting at the heart of the 2019 season, one of the leading Belgian teams in Grand Touring will arrive in DTM: Team WRT.
The team led by Vincent Vosse will enter two Audi RS 5 DTMs. This is the first time that one of the manufacturers involved in DTM has placed its trust in a customer team since the rule change in 2012.
We're heading to the @DTM season finale with the motto: “all in!” The two races at the Hockenheimring will begin at 13:30 p.m. CEST on Saturday and Sunday. #DTM #DTMFinale #ranDTM #LeagueofPerformance pic.twitter.com/51X8OBAeWv

“Together with ITR (the organizer of the DTM. Ed.), we have worked hard to open the DTM to customer teams again, explains Dieter Gass. I know Vincent Vosse and his team well since the Super Touring era and the many years of collaboration in GT. I am convinced that Team WRT has the potential to become recognized in the championship."
Team WRT is the firm's best representative at the Rings in GT3, and in particular in the Blancpain GT Series. Founded in 2009, the Belgian structure has won the most prestigious endurance races such as the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring (Germany) and Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium). However, the names of the drivers have not yet been revealed.
