An anti-crisis plan in GT

600 euros will be allocated to the 000 cars registered for the entire FIA GT season. 24 euros will be distributed at the end of the season for each car present at the start of the eight events.

250 euros will be used to provide a free catering service for drivers and teams in the GT000 European Championship.

150 euros will be distributed through the Michelin Trophy, as well as forty sets of tires which will be won by the highest ranked driver equipped with Michelin tires in the European GT000 Championship, to enable registration in the FIA GT next season.

“In this context of economic slowdown, it is essential to find solutions to help the teams,” explains Stéphane Ratel, President of SRO. “This is the first time that such a budget will be offered to GT teams in Europe. We want to show SRO's desire to maintain solid foundations around GT racing and to professionalize this discipline despite the current economic difficulties. We also want to thank Michelin and Total for their support. »

In order to continue this cost reduction momentum, the calendar is contained to eight dates. The trip to Argentina is replaced by a stop on the Paul Ricard HTTT in October.
