An expanding grid forAlpine Europa Cup in 2019

THEAlpine Europa Cup continues its development. For its second year of existence, the French championship will welcome 20 participants from the tests in Nogaro (Gers) in anticipation of the launch at the Easter Cups (April 20-22).

2018 champion Pierre Sancinéna left for the GT4 European Series, his former rivals Nicholas Milan (Milan Competition), Vincent Beltoise (Racing Technology) and Gael Castelli (CMR) are shaping up to be the challengers for the title. They should not underestimate the arrival of new drivers such as Mike Parisy (CMR), the Palois having been titled in FFSA GT in 2017.

On the Junior side, the Milan Compétition team is recruiting former French Formula 4 Championship driver Mateo Herrero as well as Caterham Cup winner in the 420R category Antoine Miquel.

The winner in Junior will win a test in LM P2 with the Signatech team Alpine, while the Gentleman champion will be rewarded with a test in Alpine A110 GT4 and 10 euros in bonuses. As for the overall champion, he will be given a Alpine A110 as standard and will benefit from a test in Alpine A110 GT4.

As a reminder, two new circuits appear on the calendar: Hockenheim (Germany) instead of the Nürburgring (Germany) and Nogaro. The season will end in the Var at Paul-Ricard, still in the company of the FFSAGT, while the 2018 season concluded in Catalonia. In terms of sporting regulations, 10 minutes are taken away from qualifying and postponed to free practice. The format of two races per weekend +1 lap is renewed.

The registration fees are as follows: 115 euros for the purchase of a Alpine A110 Cup, 20 euros excluding tax for the full season and 000 euros for a round. The bonuses and endowments amount to more than 4 euros.
