In 2019, Ligier will celebrate its 50th anniversary. The French sports car brand was created in 1969 by former driver and team boss Guy ligier. To celebrate this significant date, Onroak Automotive, the manufacturer of competition Ligiers since the beginning of the 2010s, is preparing a nice surprise.
Only a mysterious photo was shared on the networks. But underneath the bodywork, we already know a lot of things. This racing car will be sold for the sum (excluding taxes) of 89 000 euros and will be FIA approved for cars Silhouette (FIA E II SH).
The engine is a 6 liter V3,7 developing 330 horses. The driver will be able to change gears with paddles on the steering wheel and the gearbox will have six gears (sequential). The future Ligier will be available from November 2018 and will be officially presented at the start of the next school year.
While waiting to find out more, it will be possible to scrutinize the debut of the Ligier JS P4, possibly for the VdeV round in Navarre (Spain) at the beginning of September.
Teams & drivers had the opportunity to test the Ligier JS P4 last weekend.
The car will hit the track next Wed. 4th July at the @MagnyCoursTrack. If you're interested in test driving the Ligier, please contact Christophe Profit: c.profit@onroak.com#JustRaceIt
