We take the same and start again ! This Sunday took place the second race of the weekend in Townsville as part of the Supercars championship. And once again, it was Shane van Gisbergen (Triple Eight) who won the race, the 50th of his career.
Like yesterday, he is ahead of his teammate Jamie Whincup. The only difference from yesterday is in the starting order. Jamie Whincup had indeed taken pole position ahead of Shane van Gisbergen. The podium is completed by Anton De Pasquale (Dick Johnson Racing). The top 3 is therefore identical to that of race 1.
Behind Will Davidson (Dick Johnson Racing) finished 4th ahead of Will Brown (Erebus Motorsport) and Cameron Waters (Tickford Racing). The two drivers fought for 5th place until the last lap. It was ultimately the Erebus Motorsport driver who climbed into the top 5 at the cost of a good overtake.
