The German Touring Championship (DTM) continue d’attirer des stars du Grand Tourisme. L’équipe SSR Performance a confirmé sa présence sur la saison 2022 dans son intégralité après un galop d’essai en 2021, et s’est attiré les services de deux pilotes soutenus par Porsche : Laurens Vanthoor et Dennis Olsen.

The 30-year-old Belgian first made himself known on the GT3 scene through the sprint races of the FIA GT Series then the Blancpain GT Series in the 2010s, before branching out into endurance races in the United States. United (titles in GTLM and GTD IMSA) and in Europe (victories at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, Spa-Francorchamps and Le Mans in WEC GTE Pro).

Five years his junior, Dennis Olsen, for his part, enjoyed success in GT3 at the Bathurst 12 Hours and the Kyalami 9 Hours in 2019, already with Porsche in a 911 GT3 R. In 2022 he will become the very first Norwegian driver in DTM, the 32nd nationality to have participated in this competition.
