Villeneuve on a Ferrari in the Italian GT Championship
Jacques Villeneuve will be a busy man in 2019. The co-responsible for the Feed Racing steering wheel reserved for young talents will take back his helmet on the occasion of the Nascar Whelen Euro Series season, but also for the Italian Grand Touring Championship (GT) in the version Endurance.
The Canadian will be entered in a Ferrari 488 GT3 of the team Team Baldini, notably champion of the championship in 2014. « Jacques will wear number 27, of which all fans of the Maranello (Italy) firm know the importance”, explains the trans teamalpine. Gilles Villeneuve, the father of the world champion of Formula 1 1997, used this number during his races with Ferrari in F1.
“The memory of the great Gilles is still alive, this will be even more the case this season where all fans will have the opportunity to meet his son Jacques, continues Scuderia Baldini. We are also trying to close the contract with Giancarlo Fisichella, with whom we would like to share this season as well. In 2018, Giancarlo played an excellent season. »
This announcement raises the concern of'a clash of dates between the Italian competition and the Nascar Whelen Euro Series, during the final of the two championships on the weekend of October 5 and 6.

September 13-15: Vallelunga
October 4-6: Mugello
