Vortex ready to face the 2020 season

After the 1.1 GT3, featuring the massive 6,2-liter Chevrolet block, the manufacturer Vortex will approach the 2020 campaign with a slightly reworked version of its car.

Called Light, this version uses the same mechanical and aero elements of the 1.1 GT3, but a different engine map lowers the power from 480 to 400 hp, “allowing access to certain championships where the GT3 was not accepted until then. » specifies Vortex.

In terms of competition, the structure of Arnaud and Olivier Gomez will be able to count on around ten drivers, who will mainly compete in the 24H Series championships, the CER Spanish endurance championship, and the Ultimate Cup Series where the title UGT came to reward the 2019 season.

Note that one of the two cars lined up in the series, entrusted to Cyril Calmon, will be shared with a different guest over the seven meetings of the season.
