And the first representative Red Bull of history to win in F4 France is… Yuto Nomura. Taking advantage of the reverse grid system for this Race 2, the Japanese, author of the 9th fastest time in qualifying and therefore 2nd on the grid, quickly found the opening on the “poleman” Enzo Peugeot to take control.
In the lead even before the first braking, Yuto Nomura managed this 2 perfectlye weekend outing. Comfortably installed in the lead, the member of the Red Bull Junior Team was able to protect himself from any attack from Enzo Peugeot who was never really able to do so.
The gap created in the first laps reduced to nothing after Leny Réveillère's exit from the track and the intervention of the Safety Car, Yuto Nomura did not tremble when restarting the race. Starting very early, the Japanese left his rivals no chance by quickly creating an air gap.
The hardest part, Yuto Nomura took the checkerboard with a 2"2 lead over Enzo Peugeot and 2"6 over Lorens Lecertua. Dario Cabanelas and Enzo Guiraci completed the Top 5. Member of the AutoHEBDO Rookie Academy, Alessandro Giusti was not in his element during Race 2. Left behind on the restart after the Safety Car, the Ile-de-France native even had to watch his mirrors to keep Hugh Barter behind him. In the end, he finished the race where he started, in 6e instead.
