Alvise Rodella (Xcel Motorsport) started race 2 in pole position, accompanied by Enzo Deligny (R-ace GP) on the first row. The Italian, however, remained stuck on the grid, unable to get going. The young Frenchman took the opportunity to take the lead of the race, but failed at the end of the first lap and retired on the second lap. Jamaican Alex Powell (Mumbai Falcons) took advantage of the situation to take the lead.
A collision between Everett Stack (PHM AIX Racing) and Yuhao Fu (Pinnacle Motorsport) brought in the Safety Car with just under 15 minutes to go. The race was restarted with just under four minutes to cover. Alex Powell managed perfectly and the native of Miami (Florida) crossed the line victoriously, ahead of Keanu Al Azhari (Yas Heat Racing Academy) and Jack Beeton (AGI Sport).
Seventh in race 1 this morning, Dorian Pin started in 6th position in this race 2 in Dubai and valiantly fought for the top 5 at the start of the race in a raging peloton before losing several places afterwards. The Frenchwoman finally finished outside the top 10, in 13th place, behind her competitor Jules Caranta (Saintéloc Racing).
Race 3 will take place at 6:30 a.m. (French time) this Sunday morning.
