One Being can hide another. Eighteen years after Kevin's title in Formula Campus, it's the turn of the little brother of the siblings to take the plunge. In Nogaro this weekend, we can find Dylan Estre, almost 20 years younger than the official driver Porsche.
But in the Gers, young Dylan did not come alone since the family was present on the Paul Armagnac circuit, including Kevin. Without commitment this weekend and after a busy start to the year, the Lyonnais took advantage of the “truce” to turn towards the southwest before returning to service.
Track walk, advice… Kevin Estre in coach mode for Dylan
Dylan's first supporter in the stands, Kevin also takes on the role of coach on the Nogaro side. A service for the benefit of the family, for a weekend. A help not to be overlooked when we know the CV of the big brother, champion himself of Formula Campus (former name of F4 France) in 2006, in addition to his numerous victories with Porsche in GT like the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2018.
In the Gers, Kevin therefore appears very close to Dylan. Together, and in the company of their father, they completed the track walk during the day on Thursday. A good time to diligently follow the elder's advice before starting the first riding sessions of the weekend.
When Dylan finishes his sessions and after the debriefings with his assigned engineer, Kevin takes the time to speak with his junior. The opportunity to give him some driving advice.
For the moment, it seems to be working well since the young Dylan regularly plays in the Top 10 during the first outings on the track at Nogaro. Perhaps partly thanks to the advice of the experienced big brother. Everything for the family.
