Esteban Masson, between bad luck and wins

The Habs won the title of French F4 champion (subject to appeal) at Magny-Cours two weeks ago, succeeding Ayumu Iwasa, Hadrien David and Caio Collet on the list of winners. Aged 17, the young man trained in karting before starting single-seater racing.

Esteban Masson, between bad luck and wins

It's the story of a 17-year-old young man, born in Canada to a French father and a German mother. “My father worked near Montreal, where I grew up until the age of 7. He was doing a little karting for fun, I wanted to do it too but I was too small. Once back in France, and three years after having expressed the desire for the first time, I was able to start mini-karting! » It was enough to feed an already well-established thirst for competition. Based in Ancenis (Loire-Atlantique), where his dad Antoine grew up, Esteban shares his passion for karting with him. After a League champion title acquired in his first year in mini-karts, he moved to Minimes, and traveled the roads of France in a truck with his father. “They are excellent memories, I am happy to have experienced all that with him. We are really very close,” Esteban confided to us
