Rookie Academy AUTOhebdo – Giusti is gaining momentum

If he did not directly get involved in the ragtag fight between Hugh Barter and Souta Arao, it is mainly because of a qualification disrupted by a red flag and by traffic (4e). But in the race, Alessandro Giusti, member of the rookie Academy AUTOhebdo was absolutely perfect. When he had free rein, he was as fast as Barter and Arao. He also accompanied them on the podium in C1 and C3. Always with the same strategy: staying a respectable distance from the battles on the track to better benefit from them. This is what he did in C1, overtaking Enzo Peugeot when Yuto Nomura attacked him, and passing the Japanese two turns further when the latter got into the wall.

In C2, he used the same strategy and took advantage of the crash between Elliott Vayron and Pierre-Alexandre Provost to take 4place. The Frenchman may have been the third man of the weekend, but he is only seven points behind Arao, his main rival for the title, given the double program of Hugh Barter (see elsewhere).
