Announcement day on the side of Toyota. Besides the WEC with the renewal of its 6 current drivers for the 2023 season, the Japanese manufacturer has confirmed the identity of all its members for local series such as Super Formula and Super GT.
Toyota Super Formula drivers
One of the new things among Toyota drivers in Super Formula is Kondo Racing. Left in Formula E with Nissan, Sacha Fenestraz was replaced by Kazuto Kotaka, 2022 Super Formula Lights champion and who will team up with Kenta Yamashita. As in 2021, Kamui Kobayashi will lead a double program in WEC with the Japanese firm and with KCMG in Japan.

Toyota Super GT drivers
Not renewed in Super Formula, Giuliano Alesi will still be able to continue to benefit from Japan. The Habs are in fact part of the Toyota contingent in Super GT where they will represent TGR TEAM Deloitte TOM'S on the track.
