Barcelona, first: tension rises!

On a popular track in the Formula 1, more than a hundred drivers will compete for the first laurels of a season which promises to be always hot. A suspense which will also be valid in all the categories proposed by Eric Van de Vyver and his team.

The Catalan meeting will immediately set the tone for the show, with the five V de V sets on display. Endurance Series. With the Endurances in Protos, in GT / Touring and in VHC, but also the Funyo and Formula challenges, 13 hours and 30 minutes (respectively 6 hours, 4 hours, 2×45 minutes, 3×20 minutes and 3×20 minutes) will be exclusively devoted to racing. The novelty ? It concerns the format of the VHC events, now judged over two rounds of 45 minutes to allow the old ones to preserve their fragile mechanics and to guarantee better cost control.

Among the highlights of this 2015 season, let us also highlight the remodeling of the GT regulations which opens the horizon to new cars. There Renault RS 01, for example, will explore endurance events in this way since the V de V will be the only playing field on which it will be able to perform outside of the World Series by Renault. Another unprecedented participation, that of prototypes from the LM P2 and LM PC categories (Formula Le Mans) now authorized in the plateau of GT Tourism, exclusively reserved for gentlemen drivers. With GT tires and less efficient engines thanks to the strict use of 98 unleaded fuel, Eric Van de Vyver finds here an excellent way to run cars – which for the most part sleep in garages – for moderate budgets .

The V de V Endurance Series is also launching a new offensive on television, on the Internet and on social networks. The series has indeed renewed its partnership with Motors TV which will broadcast the best moments of each stage, and which will set up an increased number of cameras around the circuit to enrich the live broadcasts on the official website and on YouTube. Retransmissions also enhanced with reactions from the pit lane. Finally, the V de V Endurance Series will strengthen its presence on social networks (Facebook and Twitter) to allow fans to experience these racing weekends as close as possible to the action.
