Here is Dino Beganovic's answer! Without the slightest pole position or victory for two months, the Prema driver had a perfect day at Spa-Francorchamps this Friday.

After taking pole position at the end of the morning, Dino Beganovic did not give up in Race 1 in the afternoon. Neck to neck with Gabriele Mini (ART Grand Prix), with whom he shared the front row, the Swede held his own against the Italian who attempted an attack in Les Combes, without success.

From then on, the leader was able to set his own pace. A pace that Gabriele Mini was never able to maintain, quickly conceding ground and driving almost 5 seconds behind the Swede. With complete peace of mind, Dino Beganovic was content to ensure the end of the race to take the checkerboard alone.

Mini on the mat but survived, Meguetounif on the podium

Left to take 2e place a little more than 5 seconds behind Dino Beganovic, Gabriele Mini finally left empty-handed. Betrayed by its mechanics even though it was solidly installed in 2e position, the Transalpine was forced to immobilize its car at the Bus Stop thus conceding a 25-0 against the Swede who now has a 34-point lead. At least what he thought.

A few seconds before the race ended, Victor Bernier (FA Racing) made a mistake causing neutralization while doing Gabriele Mini's business. Although forced to retire after having immobilized his car and even leaving it, the Italian was able to keep his 2nd place since the regulations stipulate that it is the classification of the lap preceding the red flag which is taken into account. He therefore only lost 7 points on Dino Beganovic who is now 16 lengths behind.

Although he crossed the line in 2nd position, Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport) took the 3rd step of the podium. A first presence on the box which allows him to put an end to a series of 10 races outside the points.

Reappointed to RPM, Owen Tangavelou continues with a new arrival in the Top 10 by grabbing 10e place, 3 weeks after his first points in FRECA for Hungary. Starting from the back of the grid after being forced to change engine, Hadrien David (R-ace GP) made a good comeback from 32e the 17e place finishing between his compatriots Esteban Masson (ART Grand Prix) and Maceo Capietto (Monolite).
