C2: The great operation of Lundgaard, winner in Hungary

It was quite a turnaround that occurred during the second race of the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup on the Hungaroring (Hungary) Sunday lunchtime. Winner on Saturday, Yifei ye (Josef Kaufmann Racing) made a complete mistake during qualifying practice and scored no points in the race.

The Chinese was trapped by the difficult weather conditions, as the rain accompanied the young drivers of the Renault series from start to finish Yifei Ye did not manage to enter the top 10; even worse, he lost control of the championship, to the benefit of Christian lundgaard (MP Motorsport).

The latter, author of pole position, benefited from clear visibility, while his competitors had to deal with a curtain of water raised by the cars. The Dane won easily, and therefore becomes the new leader of the competition with 190 points. Yifei Ye is eight points behind.

The fight for the podium was much more lively and was finally won by Max Fewtrell (R-ace GP) just ahead of Lorenzo Colombo (JD Motorsport). The first Frenchman classified is Arthur Rougier (Fortec Motorsports), eighth ahead of Victor Martins (R-ace GP).
