C2: Victory at the finish for David Beckmann

Joey Mawson (Arden), starting from pole position, had done the job keeping Jake Hughes (ART GP) behind him at the start. The Englishman even saw his race spoiled from the 2nde turn after contact with Giuliano Alesi (Trident).

At the front, Simo Laaksonen (Campos) placed second but was sent into a spin after very light contact with Anthoine Hubert (ART GP), giving David Beckman (Trident) and Richard Verschoor (MP Motorsport) the provisional podium.

The final laps saw some drivers struggling with their tires, notably Nikita mazepin (ART GP) which allows Anthoine Hubert to come back and put pressure on his teammate. The Russian's race ended three laps from the end as he went alone on the tires at turn 2.

After the virtual safety car, one lap was under green flag, allowing David Beckmann to attack Joey Mawson and pass him three corners from the finish even though the Australian had led the entire race.

German David Beckman is therefore essential for the 3e time this season ahead of Joey Mawson and Richard Verschoor who signs his first podium in GP3. Anthoine Hubert finishes 4e and increases his lead in the championship to 32 points over Mazepin. Juan Manuel Correa (Jenzer) finishes 5e before Gabriel Aubry (Arden) who signs his best result of the season.

Tatiana Calderón (Jenzer) and Leonardo Pulcini (Campos) grab the last available points while Ryan Tveter (Trident) and Jannes Fittje (Jenzer) complete the top 10. Sacha fenestraz (Arden) finishes 13e while Callum Ilott (ART GP) finished 1 lap behind the leaders.
