Christian Lundgaard signs his first success of the year

Christian lundgaard, resident of ART Grand Prix, dominated from pole position this first confrontation of the Hungarian weekend in FIA F3, to achieve his first success in 2019.

A clear race for Lundgaard, author of the best start, and who quickly secured control of the race ahead of his teammate Max Fewtrell. The two teammates will widen the gap on the competition to finally finish, separated by 3″7, with more than 13″ ahead of Jake Hughes (HWA), third at the finish.

Note that Lundgaard was the first winner under the checkered flag of the year in Barcelona, before seeing his success slip away due to a penalty.

The top 5 is completed by Juri Vips (Hitech GP) and Robert Shwartzman (Prema), the two championship leaders. Less success for Pedro Piquet (Trident), forced to retire with a brake problem after four laps, or Lirim Zendeli (Sauber Junior Team by Charouz), cut off in his tracks by a mechanical problem.

The second race of the weekend will take place tomorrow at 10 a.m. French time.
