  • Quicker than Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Prema) when the lights went out, Tim Tramnitz took the lead at the first corner and never let go afterwards. The German driver, member of the French R-ace GP team, won his first victory of the year after resisting the pressure put on by his Italian rival. In great form, Tramnitz will also have the opportunity to capitalize on this great dynamic since he will start from pole this Sunday for race 2 (10:13 a.m.).
  • Starting 7th, Macéo Capietto (RPM) finished as the best Frenchman thanks to an admirable 5th place, obtained behind Lorenzo Fluxa (Prema). As for his compatriots, Victor Bernier (MP Motorsport) finished 12th, while rookies Alessandro Giusti (G4 Racing) and Marcus Amand (ART Grand Prix) crossed the finish line in 13th and 22nd places respectively.
  • Championship leader Martinius Stenshorne (R-ace GP), who blew everyone away at Imola at the end of a 43-point weekend, managed to grab 7th place. An insufficient result to maintain the lead in the championship, which returns this Saturday evening to Kas Haverkort for a small point. The Dutchman, on the podium for the second time this year thanks to his third place, will therefore fall asleep in the shoes of the series leader before the last race on Sunday.
  • Note that this race 1 was marked by a red flag following a crash between Sami Meguetounif and his MP Motorsport teammate Dilano Van't Hoff. Stuck in the gravel, the two cars had to be pulled by 4x4s. The operation having taken time, the commissioners chose to interrupt the race to ensure that the racing time did not run out inexorably. Owen Tangavelou (Trident) caught on to him at the end of the race, causing the safety car to be deployed until the end of the race. Despite a heavy and threatening sky, the race was able to take place in the dry.
